Strong Start#
- Alora rewards the party with magic items from her armory as a reward for saving her daughter, Olivia, and bringing dealing with the Bandersnatch.
Scenes#
- Meet with Alora and get rewards
- Learn about the Leyline powered barrier and how it is weakening
- Alora asks the party to investigate the [[Winter Leyline Temple]] whose magic supports the barrier
Secret and Clues#
- The veil between this world and the feywild is thinning, which is how the Bandersnatch got here
- The veil is being reinforced by a barrier constructed by a previous matriarch of the winter court.
- Temples near leylines in each seasons’ domain hold a crystal meant to stabilize the barrier
- The standing stones can be used for rapid transit via the ley lines that connect them
- Summer’s Edge can be reforged by any master elven smith, but rare materials from the summer court’s domain (sun crystals from the Great Golden tree)
- Serenity did cross into the feywild

Deadly Encounter Benchmark#
Calculate the deadly encounter benchmark by adding together all character levels and dividing by 2 if they’re 5th level or above or divide by 4 if they’re 1st to 4th level. An encounter may be deadly if the sum total of monster challenge ratings is greater than half the sum total of character levels or one quarter of character levels if the characters are 4th level or below.

Session Notes#
- Late October
- The party agreed to track the Bandersnatch and try to retrieve some of its venom.
- Gathered supplies to make traps to lure the creature
- Successfully tracked the creature based on where Olivia had been hunting the day she was attacked.
- Slumpet employed his squirrel network again to help alert him to the creature
- Shad set up traps with the bait they gathered (meat and catnip)
- The traps worked and attracted the creature
- The party was able to kill it, but struggled to deal with the creature’s poison claws and gas
- They chopped off its head for good measure and brought it back to the Winter Embassy 7pm
