Deadly Encounter Benchmark#

Calculate the deadly encounter benchmark by adding together all character levels and dividing by 2 if they’re 5th level or above or divide by 4 if they’re 1st to 4th level. An encounter may be deadly if the sum total of monster challenge ratings is greater than half the sum total of character levels or one quarter of character levels if the characters are 4th level or below.

• Interrogated the cultists on the ancient battlefield

  • Jenny (archer) and Kurt (swordsman) - mercenaries from the Stone Valley (far south, near the Dwarven territory)
  • Learned the Weaver’s stronghold is in the Feywild

• Looted a +1 vampiric scythe from Kharvax (mage/summoner) as well a Grimoire of the Eclipse which contained several spells:

  • summon shadowspawn
  • shadow blade
  • contact other plane

• Traveled to the Summer Court

• Located a standing stone near the coliseum and found that there is a large forge nearby as well.

• Planned to visit “Ember’s Embrace” tavern to rest before seeking out the Summer Leyline Temple
